We have changed “Projects” to “Folders”
Here’s what this means for you:
- Folders now act solely as a way to organize your Boards. You can store and manage your Boards within these Folders just as you did before with Projects.
- Themes and assets, such as Saved Components, are no longer be associated with Projects (or Folders). Now each Board will have its own theme and assets.
Best of all, all users, not just Visily Pro subscribers, can create unlimited Folders and move Boards freely between them.
Why are we making this change?
The answer is simple: the current structure just doesn’t make a lot of sense.
For example, say your Team has a Project with 3 Boards in it, and different people are working in each Board. In Visily’s current structure, a change to the theme in one Board would actually change the theme the other 2 Boards as well. That’s because themes are currently tied to Projects, not Boards.
This structure has gone from minor annoyance to major disruptor as more teams have adopted Visily (as opposed to just individual users), hence the change.
